Gikoko’s philosophy is to actively pursue only those certifications which add real value to both ours and our client’s operations and which help the company to maintain its reputation for good corporate stewardship.

Gikoko has been ISO 9001 certified since November 2000 and is a manufacturer of power boilers and pressure vessels authorised by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). This accreditation and its associated procedures and standards covers the entire design, manufacturing and testing process and permits Gikoko to brand its products with the appropriate ASME classification stamps, that is “S”, “U” and “R”.

Gikoko has already received certification of ISO 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Standards in January 2007. Gikoko is actively pursuing ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standards certification and is scheduled for compliance audit in December 2007.

Gikoko currently employs over 150 skilled technicians, craftsmen and engineers and is committed to further developing safety awareness skills and good operating practices both at its own factories and on site at our client’s facilities.
