Gikoko incorporates experienced and proven Swedish furnace design to generate hot gas from wood chips, dust, other forestry products and agricultural waste to generate steam and hot oil for heating process and electrical power generator.

Gikoko has constructed 2.6MW Thermal Oil Heater for a particle board factory in Central Java. A 20MW (4MWe) wood fired steam turbine electrical power plants is now under construction.

The thermal oil heater alone has saved the company 4000 liter of diesel fuel a day, substituted by biomass waste. More over the fuel substitution reduces the green house gas emission and can be registered as a CDM project.
